Self Isolation & Staying Connected

If you would like to share a picture of any experiences you are having during self isolation / lockdown, email the pic to my email address along with a blurb (a few sentences) explaining the picture. Please ask your parents first :)
It could be a pic of your pet, an indoor fort or lego build, a backyard garden project, farm life etc. etc. If shared, it may just inspire others in our class and beyond to give these things a go too!
**I will upload the pic and the blurb you send me onto your page in the blog.**
Let's keep connected ;)

Try these ones from level 3 and the decimal level (hard ones).
Keep trying even when you are in the learning pit!

Post your solutions in the comments area. Remember there can be more than one solution to each of these. Good luck!

Tryathlon and Swimming Sports Day

What a day it was. Thankfully the weather for us held.
The Year 6 students did a great job on the track supporting and encouraging the younger ones.
It took some time before the older students raced and the nerves were starting to grow.
Everyone gave their best and the training we did back at school helped the athletes with being fitness prepared. Well I think it did?
I'd like to have had more time in the deep water experience part of the day. I can think of other things now we could have done. Like diving off the start platforms and retrieving objects from the bottom. Maybe we should have visited the Rec Grounds Pools in week 2 of term and had some deep water experience then? Can you think of other activities we could try?
