Tryathlon and Swimming Sports Day

What a day it was. Thankfully the weather for us held.
The Year 6 students did a great job on the track supporting and encouraging the younger ones.
It took some time before the older students raced and the nerves were starting to grow.
Everyone gave their best and the training we did back at school helped the athletes with being fitness prepared. Well I think it did?
I'd like to have had more time in the deep water experience part of the day. I can think of other things now we could have done. Like diving off the start platforms and retrieving objects from the bottom. Maybe we should have visited the Rec Grounds Pools in week 2 of term and had some deep water experience then? Can you think of other activities we could try?

    1. Nice spelling fix ups. Is there anything you would have done differently about the event?

  5. I would have saved more energy for the swim because I didn't feel as tired as the others and could have passed them in the swim.
